Instructor Training Program
Learn All The Skills You Need To Teach
Service Description
Every lessons is handmade just for the student. Learning pace, style genre and goals are all student driven. Making this experience the most handcrafted lesson experience you have had. Every instructor operates with one goal in mind. To make sure every student and family feels LOVED. VALUED. CARED FOR. Loved = Sacrifice - The instructors preferences do not trump the students needs. Our instructors lead with intentionality to listen and learn about their students so they can serve them where they are as human and budding musician. Valued = Seen - Because our instructors actually listen to their students, they get to know them. They give them space to share in their life, space to ask questions, space to be vulnerable and be a human that is honest without the fear of judgement that comes from that. Cared For = Invested In - Because our instructors focus so intently on relationship. The relationship between themselves and the student, the instrument to the student, the student to the parent and the parent to the instructor. It everyone is on mission together. That mission is to help our students become healthy humans. Healthy Humans = Healthy Musicians. This is a one of a kind program that gives you a pathway to becoming a qualified professional that can walk into any lesson studio and immediately ad value and culture. 1. Weekly 30 minute lesson dedicated to growing knowledge on instrument(s). 2. Weekly 30 minute lesson dedicated to learning the art of teaching. 3. Weekly 30 minute admin and studio support meeting 4. Tuition Reimbursement for Teaching 5. After completing 300 hours of teaching and a final project, you get a certificate of completion There is nowhere in the world that offers this type of program. Our goal is to create a new path for musicians to view their craft from. One built on service to others instead of service to self.
Cancellation Policy
Private Lessons may need to be canceled due a number of reasons. We try to be as flexible as possible for our families and students. Life is messy. Makeups do not have to be. If you need to miss a lesson, cancel it and book a makeup lesson with your instructor. All of our instructors have group makeup slots (No more than 4) per group. This is a great introduction to learning how to play with other students, very similar to our band experiences. However most of the time, our makeups end up being one on one anyway. We want to serve you well, if there are no available makeup slots on the instructor schedule. Reach out to fmgmakeups@gmail.com for some help finding a creative solution.
